NEW YORK–Six of the participating companies at a Greener Home event, featuring companies with sustainable products, will be featured on a local newscast here this evening.
The companies—Fagor America, John Ritzenthaler Co., Lifetime Brands, PMI, Simplehuman and Verilux—are exhibiting at the event, which is sponsored by the International Housewares Association. The companies were interviewed by the station’s news staff last night, according to Perry Reynolds, IHA’s vice president of marketing and trade development. They each described the products they are exhibiting at today’s event, and went into detail about their sustainability features and elements.
The story is slated to air on WNBC’s newscast later today, Reynolds said, and may be rebroadcast as part of a larger story at some time in the future. Overall, 19 companies will be displaying their “green” products at this event, and experts on sustainability will be discussing green issues in home products.
