CANONSBURG, Pa.–Chef Timothy Hollingsworth of The French Laundry in Yountville, Calif., was recently named the winner of the Bocuse d’Or USA, a competition that was sponsored in part by All-Clad Metalcrafters and Krups.
Held during the recent International Food & Wine Festival in Orlando, Fla., the event pitted eight teams against each other as they competed to become the U.S. representative in the Bocuse d’Or World Cuisine Contest, to be held in Lyon, France, in January. All-Clad and Krups supplied the cookware and coffee stations for the event, as well as a number of auction items. The eight finalists received an engraved All-Clad French skillet and a Krups blender, and Hollingsworth will receive another engraved All-Clad pan.
“On behalf of All-Clad and Krups, congratulations to Chef Hollingsworth and his team as they celebrate their win at the Bocuse d’Or USA,” said Marc Navarre, president and chief executive officer, Groupe SEB North America. “It was an honor to be part of a competition filled with talented and energetic chefs. We wish them the best of luck as they prepare for the international competition in January.”
