STAMFORD, Conn.–Ron Diamond has become the sole president of Conair, taking charge of the company’s entire product line in the wake of the announced retirement of Barry Haber, co-president.
Diamond and Haber had been Conair’s co-presidents since July 2000, with Diamond responsible for the company’s personal care products and Haber overseeing the Cuisinart and Waring brands of small electrics. With this move, Diamond is in charge of the small electrics brands as well as the personal care segment.
In a Conair statement, Diamond said the company will focus on enhancing all segments through organic growth, acquisitions and expansion in its overseas markets.
