NEW YORK–Sandra Lee, home and style expert and host of “Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee” on the Food Network, is featured as the spokeswoman for the Waverly brand in a new advertising campaign kicking off this month.
The ad, which will appear in Better Homes & Gardens magazine, features the Waverly Sun N Shade outdoor fabric line, with Lee stating, “Waverly makes me feel right at home.” The campaign, called “World of Waverly,” is intended to present the different lifestyles embodied by the Waverly brand, which is owned by NexCen Brands. A series of full-page, four-color ads show Lee in different lifestyles based on the five Waverly design themes: Modern Essentials, Past Perfect, Town & Country, Beautiful Things and Cultural Rhythms.
Other ads will appear in the fall in Country Home, Traditional Home and Family Circle magazines. Rick Platt, president of NexCen’s Home Studios division, said Lee “will help our audience embrace the Waverly signature look into their personal lifestyles. Waverly is expanding into a complete lifestyle resource [and] we expect Sandra’s savvy style will help connect our passionate consumers to new products and lifestyles.”
