THOMASVILLE, N.C.–Lexington Home Brands has recognized five retailers with outstanding in-store displays in the Trump Home National Retail Display Contest, sponsored by Lexington.
Winners were Louis Shanks in Austin, Texas; Baer’s Furniture in Pompano Beach, Fla.; DeBoer’s in Toronto; Furnitureland South in High Point, N.C.; and Hurwitz-Mintz in Metairie, La. At the July Las Vegas Market, Lexington will unveil its newest Trump Home collection, Mar-a-Lago, in the company’s permanent showroom at the World Market Center, Building C, Space 1100.
The retail displays, which had to showcase full lifestyle presentations of both Central Park and Westchester groups, were judged on creativity, visual appeal and brand translation. The winners were chosen by Linda King, Lexington’s director of interior design; Sara Nemerov, The Trump Organization’s vice president of global licensing; and a committee of judges from within both companies.
