WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–GLM, owner and manager of next week’s Global Home Textiles and Global Home Decor shows in Las Vegas, is introducing a match-making program to enhance the efficiencies for both exhibitors and attendees.
The program captures data from exhibitors and attendees to synchronize their needs, and then match suppliers to customers. The database includes exhibitor information such as products, services, manufacturing facilities, price points, year established and number of employees. Attendees fill out a questionnaire about their market needs, and then the program harvests the data from both sides to match attendees with manufacturers.
The match-making program “will help attendees wade through the plethora of resources available to them in order to zero in on the exhibiting companies that can best fulfill their sourcing needs, and immediately put exhibitors in touch with the buyers that are best suited to their business profile,” said GLM Vice President Penny Sikalis.
In addition, this year’s Global Home Decor show will feature a group of 14 companies from Vietnam, who will be exhibiting under the auspices of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Exhibition Service Co. Among the products offered by these companies will be indoor and outdoor furniture, handicrafts, lacquer furnishings, bamboo products, pottery and vases, wall decor and decorative accessories.
Both shows will run at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, from May 6 to 8.
