NEW YORK–The New York chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association will team up with 7 W New York tomorrow to host the Fashion Institute of Technology’s presentation of its Home Products Development Senior Project.
The event will present awards for FIT students’ senior product-development projects, in which students are required to develop a product based on the coordination of soft- and hard-goods classification. Four teams of four to five students will present their projects along with a comprehensive written product review to a panel of judges from the home furnishings industry and the sponsoring companies, Lifetime Brands and Ex-Cell Home Fashions.
