WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–The New York International Gift Fair will feature a new exhibit area within its Accent on Design section that will present concepts offered by emerging designers.
Called A+: The Young Designer’s Platform, the new area will present prototypes and finished products developed by young designers who participate in the new showcase. GLM, the show’s owner and manager, has unveiled a Web site in which designers can apply to present their concepts. Applications will be accepted through June 1.
The New York International Gift Fair is scheduled to run from Aug. 16 to 21 at the Jacob K. Javits Center, the Metropolitan Pavilion and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94 in New York.
