MOSCOW–Baccarat has opened a new boutique designed by Philippe Starck here in Moscow, part of a development strategy to enter new markets.
The Maison, as it is called, offers numerous crystal pieces as well as furniture. Located in a former pharmacy established in the 18th century by decree of Tsar Peter the Great, Maison Baccarat is located in one of Moscow’s busiest and most prosperous districts, and is modeled after the Maison in Paris that opened in 2003.
Last night in New York, the company also unveiled its Bombay Sapphire Revelation collection, five crystal bottles decorated with sapphires and diamonds. Profits from the sale of the bottles will go to charity.
