WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–GLM, a dmg world media business, has reached an agreement with Immagine Italia & Co. through which 10 to 12 upscale home-fashion companies based in Italy will participate in Global Home Textiles.
The new partnership will result in the formation of the Italian pavilion at the show, which will also serve as an anchor for Luxe Living, the show’s new area for high-end products and distinctive and customized booths. Companies exhibiting in the Italian pavilion will display luxury bed, bath and table linens, and window treatments. Owned and managed by GLM, Global Home Textiles is scheduled for May 6 to 8 in Las Vegas.
Immagine Italia is an international exhibition of home linens, home textiles and lingerie. The first edition of this show took place Feb. 15 to 17 in Florence, Italy, and featured 200 Italian and international companies. A GLM statement said, “Through this collaboration, Immagine Italia & Co. and Global Home Textiles will work together toward cross-promotion of the Italian and U.S. textiles markets, focusing on visibility, press and cross-sponsorship of events.”
