LANCASTER, Ohio–Glassware maker Anchor Hocking is launching an extensive kitchen and home decor licensing program, the core of which will focus on its newly designed logo, packaging and newest lineup. Categories will include ceramics, bakeware, flatware, china, soft tabletop, cutlery, cookware, small kitchen appliances and paper goods, among others.
“We are looking forward to building our brand outside of the glassware category,” said Joe Sundberg, senior vice president of sales and marketing, in a statement. Anchor Hocking is partnering with licensing agent Stone America. According to Ed Casey, vice president at Stone America, portions of the program will launch in the fourth quarter of 2008 and the first quarter of 2009.
Manufacturing partners have not been finalized.
