LOS ANGELES–Jarden Consumer Solutions, the housewares unit of Jarden Corp., has named Global Icons as its licensing consultant.
Global Icons specializes in the development and extension of corporate brands and trademarks. Global Icons will work closely with Jarden’s in-house licensing department to ensure that the licensing program stays in line with Jarden’s strategic plan and maintains a unified brand message.
According to a Global Icons statement, the agency will support Jarden’s efforts in maximizing the equity of prominent brands such as Sunbeam, Oster, Mr. Coffee and Crock-Pot. Jeff Lotman, chief executive officer of Global Icons, said the agency will “increase the consumer’s interaction” with Jarden’s brands through strategic licensing agreements.
