NEW YORK–Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. is inviting artists, artisans and designers who create original work and sell to the wholesale market to apply to exhibit at a new One of a Kind Wholesale Show in New York in August.
Building on the success of the One of a Kind Show and Sale, an annual consumer shopping opportunity at Chicago‘s Merchandise Mart, the One of a Kind Wholesale Show will be held on the 11th floor in the Market Suites at 7 W during the New York Gift Week, which starts at the end of this month.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for artists to get into the retail market,“ said Joan Ulrich, senior vice president of MMPI, in a statement. “There is no place better than 7 W New York to reach premier buyers.“
Applications are due no later than March 15, and will be juried by a selection committee. The show’s application is now online at zapplication.org and accessible via oneofakindshow.com. The show is scheduled for Aug. 16 to 19.
