NEW YORK–Home-decor showroom building 7 W New York will increase its events, amenities and transportation-support offerings to buyers who will be visiting New York for the upcoming New York Gift Show and New York Home Textiles Market Week.
The building has planned early preview days and evening hours designed to enable attendees to meet both existing and new suppliers, and will provide the opportunity to book their visits in advance on the 7 W New York Web site. The building’s show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day from Jan. 31 to Feb. 7, with evening hours available on Saturday, Feb. 2, and Monday, Feb. 4.
Among the events planned for the week are a home-textiles market week reception on Friday, Feb. 1, in conjunction with House Beautiful magazine and 230 Fifth Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m.; the 16th Anniversary Gift for Life party, raising funds for the Foundation for AIDS Research; and an ice-skating party at Rockefeller Center on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Complimentary buyers’ lunches will be available also.
