LEXINGTON, Ky.--The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has dismissed a putative antitrust class-action complaint filed against Tempur-Pedic.

As detailed in the mattress manufacturer's 10-Q filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Nov. 1, the class action was filed against Tempur-Pedic on Jan. 5, 2007, by customers who bought Tempur-Pedic mattresses since Jan. 5, 2003. It alleged that the pricing of mattresses by the company and some of its distributors violated federal antitrust laws.

According to a Tempur-Pedic statement, the court dismissed the class action "with prejudice, in its entirety."
