LAS VEGAS–As part of its launch of mattresses with the new Power Coil innerspring, Spring Air has reconfigured the warranty periods on some of its collections and changed the definition of “defective mattress.”
The warranties on the company’s Nature’s Rest and Chattam & Wells mattresses have been extended to 20 years, one of the longest periods in the industry, while warranties on its promotional mattresses will be five years. The new definition for a defective mattress is a body impression of 1.25 inches, which is less than the industry standard of 1.5 inches. The Power Coil is a three-zone product—with the top zone featuring conforming coils, the center providing extra support to relieve back pain, and the bottom third providing stabilization and durability.
Warranties for the majority of Spring Air’s new product lines will remain at 10 years.
