MEBANE, N.C.–Thomas McLean, executive vice president of Kingsdown, has received the Russell Abolt Exceptional Service award from the International Sleep Products Association.
McLean has been honored for his “commitment to educating our industry about the importance of sleep and proper sleep nutrition,” said Dick Doyle, president and chief executive officer of ISPA. A veteran of nearly 40 years at Kingsdown, McLean was also a member of the Sleep Products Safety Council for six years, the Product Safety Committee for Flammability for four years and the board of directors of the Better Sleep Council for 15 years. He was also a past chairman of the Better Sleep Council’s executive board.
