TRINITY, N.C.—Sealy has introduced a new social media-based sweepstakes called “Bed Buddies,” to support its Posturepedic campaign, “Whatever You Do In Bed, Sealy Supports It.”
The sweepstakes will be on the Sealy Posturepedic Facebook page, on which consumers can “like” the page to enter to win. It will offer weekly prizes through February 2012, celebrating all of the things people do in bed. A grand prize of $10,000 in cash will also be awarded.
Sealy will use targeted Facebook marketplace advertisements, which will change each week based on the prize offered, as a way to drive traffic to the page. Weekly prizes will range from workout videos to microwaveable slippers.
The “Whatever You Do In Bed, Sealy Supports It” campaign began earlier this year combining provocative content with digital outreach including a free mobile-phone application inspired by the fortune-cookie game where one adds the words “in bed” to the end of a fortune.
