MINNEAPOLIS-Select Comfort has named David Callen senior vice president and chief financial officer, and has appointed Patricia Dirks senior vice president and chief human capital officer.
In his new role, Callen is in charge of leading the company’s finance team and advancing the company’s financial growth plan. Dirks is responsible for all human resource functions and for maintaining and evolving the company’s culture of innovation and individualization. Both executives report to Shelly Ibach, president and CEO.
Callen has succeeded Wendy Schoppert, who resigned to spend more time with her family. Dirks has succeeded Karen Richard, who left Select Comfort to become chief human resources officer for Andersen Corp.
Callen has come to Select Comfort from Ethan Allen Interiors, where he was vice president of finance and treasurer. Dirks has joined Select Comfort after serving as senior vice president of organizational effectiveness at Target.
