BRENTWOOD, Tenn.-Jamison Bedding has tabbed Rick MacLean, its chief financial officer, as its chief operating officer, giving MacLean the dual responsibilities over both finance and operations.

In addition to his finance activities, MacLean now oversees overall strategic planning and the development of the Jamison organization, with an emphasis on the marketing, sales and manufacturing functions. He continues to report to Frank Gorrell, the company’s president.

MacLean joined Jamison as chief financial officer in 2008. Before coming to the firm, he served in finance and operations roles with Hartmann, a producer of luxury travel goods; and McKesson Corp., an international pharmaceutical distributor and health-care information-technology company.
