MINNEAPOLIS-As part of a new management structure, Select Comfort has promoted Shelly Ibach to the newly created position of chief operating officer.
Previously the company’s executive vice president of sales and merchandising, Ibach now assumes charge over consumer insights, sales, marketing and product management.
In addition, Kathy Roedel, executive vice president of product, services and operations, has been designated chief technology and services officer. Roedel is responsible for product development, delivery and services capabilities in her new role.
Both executives report directly to Bill McLaughlin, president and CEO.
Ibach joined Select Comfort in 2007 as senior vice president of U.S. sales, after holding executive posts with the Marshall Field’s division of Target. Roedel, a former executive with General Electric, joined the company in 2005 as senior vice president of the global supply chain.
