HICKSVILLE, N.Y.–1800Mattress.com has agreed to provide more than 500 beds to homeless shelters throughout the nation in partnership with HomeAid, a non-profit builder of housing for the homeless.

The multichannel mattress retailer has already supplied mattresses to HomeAid projects in Houston and Orange, Calif., but the partnership will officially begin at the HomeAid Atlanta house built in cooperation with Phoenix Pass, a non-profit organization that serves the needs of those who are temporarily homeless. The dedication ceremony for this project is scheduled for tomorrow.

Adam Blank, chief operating officer of 1800Mattress, said the company is “dedicated to providing those in need with a place to sleep at night while they rebuild their lives during the day.”
