GARDEN CITY, N.Y.–WAC Lighting has received accreditation from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for its LED/Organic LED training sessions, which already are accredited by the American Lighting Association.

“The AIA’s accreditation for our LED/Organic LED training sessions will encourage architects to learn more about the important role of LED and OLED lighting in today’s projects,” said Shelley Wang, president, WAC Lighting. “With all of the confusion and misinformation about these lighting technologies, these classes will enable architects to become more informed and educated about specifying luminaries.”

WAC has hosted training sessions at its office and showrooms, as well as lighting showrooms and electrical distributor facilities worldwide.
