Uttermost Adds Two Designers

ROCKY MOUNT, Va.–Uttermost has added two additional designers, Matthew Williams and David Frisch, to support the company’s growth. Williams and Frisch began at Uttermost on a freelance basis in May 2007, and their initial product introductions will debut at the January markets.
Williams served as executive vice president at Garcia Designer Collections, vice president of merchandising at Universal Furniture, and vice president of design at Maitland-Smith. Williams will have new lamps, mirrors and accessories being introduced in Uttermost’s Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas showrooms this month.
Frisch, whose experience is in contemporary home furnishings, has had designs featured in Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Target and Federated Department Stores. He has taught design at the University of Arizona College of Architecture, and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif.
Both report to Mac Cooper, Uttermost president and chief executive officer.
