STUTTGART, Ark.–Kinder Harris is rebuilding its wall decor factory here and working out of a temporary office after damages sustained during a tornado that ripped through the area on May 10.
The factory’s roof has been replaced and water damage is being cleaned up, while building repairs are completed.
“Our relocated offices are up and running now while building repairs are nearing completion,” said Kris Lindsey, president of Kinder Harris. “We are accepting orders for early August delivery.”
The wall decor, accessories and lighting manufacturer, Lindsey said, is fortunate that its artists work on each piece by hand, so the company didn’t lose finished goods, but raw materials did need to be replaced.
“A great deal of our imagery is produced by hand, which means we can keep our artists working ahead of the production facility repairs and our target shipping schedule,” Lindsey said in a statement.
Lindsey said that Kinder Harris is grateful for the industry’s support. “I have been amazed at the number of customers, suppliers, media and industry friends that have called just to say, ‘Are you guys OK?’ None of our employees were injured and none lost their homes, so we are OK and we truly appreciate those of you who asked.”
