E.L.K. Lighting Acquires 36-Acre Corporate Campus

NESQUEHONING, Pa.–E.L.K. Lighting has recently expanded its warehousing capacity with the purchase of 36 acres in Tamaqua, Pa. The campus includes an automated 132,000-square-foot distribution facility, which provides 15,000 pallet positions to accommodate additional product category growth. With the new acquisition, the company now has more than 400,000 square feet of domestic warehousing capacity.
“This facility will utilize the latest technology to help expedite our customers’ orders while allowing them to combine shipments between our multiple companies to save on freight expenses,” said Bradford Smith, chief executive officer.
