Dallas Market Center Names Home & Gift Retail Advisory Board

DALLAS–Dallas Market Center has appointed its 2008 Total Home & Gift Retail Advisory Board, selected by DMC management and exhibitors, to provide feedback on the gift and home decor industry and how markets can better serve retailers.
The Retail Advisory Board is comprised of 10 members who represent a variety of gift and home decor stores located throughout the United States. Members serve terms of up to two years.
The 2008 Total Home & Gift Retail Advisory Board members are:
Leah Dillingham of Miss Jackson’s in Tulsa, Okla.; Melissa Fritz of Halls Merchandising in Kansas City, Mo.; Donald Fowler of Stanley Korshak in Dallas; Geni Hulsey of The Garden Book Store in Houston; Ann McCoy of Countryside Cottage in Springfield, Mo.; Kent Ozborn of Estellas in Metairie, La.; Becky Pierce of Becky’s Hallmark in Searcy, Ark.; JoLynn Powell of Collector’s Gallery/Christmas Gallery in San Antonio, Texas; Pat Scheer of Mercy Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop in Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Pam Vincent of Culinary Connection in Plano, Texas.
Jane R. Robertson, DMC’s executive vice president of marketing, said, “It’s invaluable to have the viewpoints and experience of such knowledgeable retailers. We value them greatly.”
