19th Annual ARTS Award Presented in Dallas

DALLAS–The 19th annual ARTS Awards were presented to outstanding lighting and accessories designers, manufacturers, retailers and sales representatives during a gala event at the January Total Home & Gift Market on Saturday night.
More than 700 guests attended the awards program, co-hosted by Dallas Market Center and the Accessories Resource Team.
Special recognition was given to Arlette Baker of Carl’s Furniture in Boca Raton, Fla., inducted into ART’s Academy of Achievement.
Manufacturer winners were, in accent furniture, Four Hands; in area rugs, Feizy Rugs; and in decorative accessories, The Phillips Collection. For home textiles, the winner was Etoffe Makara; in lighting fixtures, Fine Art Lamps; and in outdoor living, Seasonal Living Trading. For permanent floral, the winner was SIA Home Fashion; in portable lamps, Oriental Accent Inc.; in tabletop, Juliska; and in wall decor, Art Dreams Home. ARTS Award retail winners in the East/Atlantic region are At Home Nashville for furniture store; Accessories Etc. of Bethlehem, Pa., for home accent specialty store; and Southern Lighting Gallery of Augusta, Ga., for lighting showroom.
Retail winners in the Midwest/Southwest region were McManus Co. of Beaumont, Texas, for furniture store; Signed Sealed Delivered of Rogers, Ark., for home accent specialty store; and Metro Lighting of Brentwood, Mo., for lighting showroom.
Retail winners in the West were C.S. Wo & Sons, of Honolulu for furniture store; Moses at Home of Albuquerque, N.M., for home accent specialty store; and Sun Lighting, of Tucson, Ariz., for lighting showroom.
The ARTS Award for product designer went to Kathleen Koszyk, Art Dreams Home, while the Rising Star Retailer is Pam Vincent of Culinary Connection.
Award-winnng sales reps are: in the East/Atlantic region, Russ Jones of OneCoast Northeast Home; Amber Leone of Codarus in the Midwest/Southwest; and Tom Wright, of Liteforce Sales for the West.
