NORWALK, Conn.-Cutlery maker Wüsthof was featured on television this morning, appearing on “The Balancing Act” on Lifetime Television.
As part of the show’s popular “myCuisine” series, Wüsthof’s newly appointed executive chef, Michael Garaghty educated the show’s predominantly women viewers on how to choose the right knife for the right task and how to properly use, store and sharpen quality kitchen knives. Today’s segment, which aired at 7 a.m., is scheduled for re-broadcasting May 4.

Chef Mike spotlights Wüsthof’s best-selling Classic knives in his demonstrations and discussions about the correct way to use and maintain quality cutlery, with special emphasis on the paring knife, serrated knife and cook’s knife. The segment includes Chef Mike demonstrating the proper method of sharpening a quality knife and how to properly store knives to maintain a sharp edge.
