BENTON HARBOR, Mich.–Whirlpool has formed an alliance with Beazer Homes USA by which the company will be the exclusive supplier of energy-and water-efficient appliances to the home builder.
Under the terms of the agreement, Beazer Homes will include Energy Star-qualified Whirlpool dishwashers in all of its homes. Also, home buyers will be able to choose other appliances under the Whirlpool and KitchenAid brands.
Beazer Homes operates in 16 states, building homes that are offered at various price points.
As part of its patented Smartdesign initiative, Beazer Homes includes as much as 10 eco-friendly features in each home it builds, among them Energy Star dishwashers.
