SAN FRANCISCO–The Gourmet Housewares Show, which opened on Saturday as it returns to San Francisco, has named the winners of its 2009 Gourmet Golds Awards.
Vita-Mix won the Best of Show award with its Professional Series 500. Other winners were: Minden Grill for its Master Range Top Grill in the Cookware & Bakeware category; Inno-Labs’ Firewire won in the Gadgets, Cutlery & Accessories category; Highwave’s Australian Beer Glass took Gourmet Gifts & Specialty Foods; Goodbye Detergent by Roland Products won the Green by Design category; Fissler USA’s Cookstar Induction Pro Portable Cooktop was the Kitchen Electrics winner and Mastrad’s Vegetable Keep Sack won in Tabletop & Textiles.
All exhibitors at this year’s show were eligible to enter new products that have been launched since March. Over 100 entries were reviewed and scored. based on quality, innovation, design, product solution and consumer appeal.
