CLEVELAND–Vita-Mix has announced the winners in three categories of its Pitch Me! contest.
The contest was a nationwide search for a new television personality to demonstrate the Vita-Mix blender. The contestants, who submitted their own videos, were judged on artistic merits, selling skills on camera and entertainment value.
The winner of the $10,000 cash grand prize and the possibility of starring in a future Vita-Mix TV ad was Heather Jade Theil, whose video displayed how to prepare a cashew cream. Brooke Lay won the Best Gourmet video prize, $5,000 cash. The People’s Choice winner was a video titled “3sisters,” produced by Melissa Washburn, Cambria Anderson and Mary Kate Anderson, which also won a $5,000 cash prize.
