TARRYTOWN, N.Y.–Country singer Trisha Yearwood has teamed up with The Cookware Company and Furi to launch cookware and cutlery at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show.
Called Precious Metals, the cookware features Thermolon ceramic nonstick coating and will be available in three colors: copper, silver and titanium. The collection will include 36 total SKUs with a variety of sets, fry pans and specialty pieces. Available with either stainless-steel or phenolic bakelite handles, the cookware is heat resistant up to 850 degrees and has even heat distribution.
A cutlery collection with Furi will also launch; consisting of 22 skus, it will have two ranges: Trisha Yearwood by Furi Professional and Trisha Yearwood by Furi Essentials with Trisha Yearwood Diamond Fingers sharpening technology. The line has a patented handle shape to reduce hand slip towards the blade and fatigue and sharp blade edges designed to be sharpened exclusively with the Trisha Yearwood Diamond Fingers sharpener.
“I have been using GreenPan for several years, and I’m simply a fan. That’s why I’m extremely excited to be partnering with their parent company, The Cookware Company, on my own line of quality products,” said Yearwood, who is also a Food Network star and a cookbook author. “The ceramic nonstick technology is unparalleled and affordably priced. Eco-friendly, user friendly, dishwasher safe, and beautiful to boot.”
Regarding the Furi knives, Yearwood added, “You can never underestimate the importance of good knives in your kitchen! I am excited to create a range of knives by Furi that make cooking effortless. They are lightweight, fit comfortably in my hand, and do the job with ease.”
The collections will be available at retail in September.
