PARSIPPANY, N.J.–The Swiss Postal Service recently issued a stamp featuring the Swiss Diamond cookware and its logo. It is available for use within Switzerland.
“Swiss Diamond is honored to have a stamp issued in its name,” said Allan Wolk, president, Swiss Diamond USA. “It’s meant to recognize the company’s ground-breaking manufacturing process involving nano-composite technology that fuses diamond crystals at the sub-molecular level to the surface of precision cast aluminum pan, creating a non-stick cooking surface like no other in the world.”
In addition, the company will announce the winner of its 2008 cooking school travel promotion, “Someone’s in the Kitchen with Diamonds,” during the housewares show on Sunday, March 22, at its booth #S3146. The promotion strived to educate culinary students both about the Swiss culture and its four distinct regions and Swiss Diamond cookware. The winner will receive a trip to Switzerland for two, including airfare and hotel accommodations, rail pass, and $500 spending money. “The program has been so successful with cooking schools that it will be expanded in 2009,” Wolk said.
