MADISON, Wis.—Spectrum Brands, parent company of the Remington shaver brand, has signed an agreement with British shaving brand King of Shaves to expand King of Shaves’ distribution to the United States and Canada.
Under the terms of the multiyear agreement, Remington and King of Shaves will partner to introduce the Remington King of Shaves Azor, a patented razor, into the American market. In addition, Spectrum will distribute King of Shaves-branded men’s grooming products to mass merchants, drug stores, regional retailers and department stores across the United States. King of Shaves will debut in this country in spring 2011.
King of Shaves, which markets wet shaving and men’s grooming products, was founded in 1993 by Will King, who is currently the company’s chief executive officer.
