AIRPORT CITY, Israel, and TAMPA, Fla.-SodaStream has formed a strategic alliance with Cott Beverages to produce flavors specifically for SodaStream’s carbonation products.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The initial production will involve existing SodaStream flavors and will take place at Cott’s primary concentrate production facility in Columbus, Ga.
Daniel Birnbaum, SodaStream’s CEO, said Cott’s manufacturing footprint will enable SodaStream to more easily meet the demand for SodaStream’s beverage flavors in the United States. “State-of-the-art production, combined with years of expertise in flavor creation, makes Cott an exceptional partner to have as we increase our syrup capacity to meet growing demand and look to broaden our product portfolio with new, great-tasting flavors,” Birnbaum said.
