PETALUMA, Calif.–Food storage company Sistema US is slated to move into a new facility here Oct. 1. At 100,000 square feet, the new facility is double the size of its former location and will handle its domestic drop-ship programs.
With its parent company based in New Zealand, Sistema US started in 2008 and has grown by 100 percent every year for the last four years, the company said. Its made-in-New Zealand, BPA-free plastic food storage line includes products for everyday storage, hydration, to-go, microwave, bakery, lunch and back-to-school.
“This new facility with 18 loading docks eliminates any short term operational limitations to our growth,” said Simon Kirby, president. “However, given the speed of our growth and the fact that Sistema is collectible and is clearly loved by the North American consumers we believe we will be moving again in another few short years.”
