ROSEMONT, Ill.–Merchandise and vendor-relations managers from Sears Holdings will speak on how to work with them on compliance standards at a one-day seminar hosted by the International Housewares Association.
Titled “All About Retail Compliance: Housewares,” the seminar will be held at the IHA headquarters here on Oct. 22. It will focus on how suppliers can eliminate process errors, chargebacks and unnecessary costs through knowledge of compliance policies. The seminar will be co-hosted by VCF, an organization that promotes positive relationship between retailers and vendors.
The Sears executives will be featured in a panel discussion that will discuss the challenges of retailing, the order-flow process, e-commerce, packing and marking, shipping and transportation, and dealing with compliance manuals.
