BLOOMINGTON, Ill.–Scott Ride has been named president of Electrolux Central Vacuum Systems, effective Oct. 1.
Ride will assume charge over the company’s global central vacuum business, and will maintain his current responsibilities as head of Electrolux Home Care Products Canada. He reports to Russ Minick, who recently moved from the presidency of Electrolux Central Vacuum Systems to become president and chief executive officer of Electrolux Home Care Products.
Ride has been in charge of Electrolux Home Care Products Canada since 2005. Prior to joining the company, he was senior brand manager at Maytag Canada, responsible for managing corporate brand development, external communications (including marketing communications and public relations), advertising, event marketing, strategic initiatives and research.
