MADISON, Wis.–The Remington brand has launched a mobile website to enable easier shopping for the holidays.
Consumers can access the site, remingtonproducts.com, from their smart phones, in addition to shopping from their computers and visiting the brand’s mass retailers. The mobile site has the same functionality as the desktop version, including Remington’s Auto Delivery Program. This service enables shoppers to schedule regular shipments of the products they use most, such as replacement cartridges, and receive a standard discount off the retail price.
Ryan Koechel, Remington’s e-commerce manager, described the mobile shopping segment as “exploding.” According to a Remington statement, mobile access to the Internet is exceeding desktop computer-based access.
