NEW YORK--Remington and Brickfish, a marketing firm specializing in social media, have joined forces for the Tools for Celebrity Style program.
The campaign asks entrants to submit photos of their favorite celebrity hair style moments to a Web site, stylewithremington.com/toolsforcelebritystyle, and then asks the entrants to pick their favorite Remington hair-styling tools and share which celebrities have inspired their hairdos. The grand prize winner will be selected by the Remington team from among the 250 highest-scoring entries, and will receive a weekend for two in Hollywood, which will include a hair-styling session with Richard Marin, the celebrity hair stylist and Remington spokesman.
The winner will also get a $500 American Express gift card, a collection of Remington hair products and the opportunity to guest-blog on the stylewithremington.com site, which will also feature the winner’s entry.
In a joint statement from Remington and Brickfish, Christine Kuske-Riese, director of brand marketing for Remington Women’s Personal Care, described Tools for Celebrity Style as a means of using social media to familiarize online consumers with the company’s line of hair-styling tools.
