KEWASKUM, Wis.–Cookware manufactured in West Bend and Kewaskum, Wis., is the highlight of tomorrow’s grand opening of the Washington County Historical Society’s West Bend Company/Regal Ware Historic Museum.
In the works since 2001, the new gallery will include the collection of West Bend Company, which was founded in 1911 and produced cookware and small appliances for decades.
In celebration, Regal Ware will hold a Community Appreciation Sale in recognition of the contributions made by the many families and individuals in the history of both companies at its outlet store located here. The company also plans to open a satellite outlet store within the museum by the end of the year, with a percentage of those sales going to the museum.
“We are proud to be the keeper of both the Regal Ware and West Bend Company legacies showcased in this museum,” said Jeffrey Reigle, Regal Ware president and chief executive officer. “Regal Ware and West Bend are names that are part of the fabric of this community. We are determined to keep southeastern Wisconsin a force in the cookware industry as we write the history of tomorrow by continuing commitment to integrity, dedication, performance and pride in the manufacture and sales of our products.”
