Maynard Returns to KitchenAid in New Post

BENTON HARBOR, Mich.–Brian Maynard has rejoined the KitchenAid brand, this time as director of brand marketing for premium brands, a newly created position.
Maynard, who worked at KitchenAid for more than a decade until the middle of last year, has taken on responsibility for marketing strategy and marketing communications for both the KitchenAid and JennAir brands, both part of Whirlpool Corp. Among his new duties are to oversee advertising, public relations and interactive issues for the two brands. He reports to Wes Pringle, vice president of premium brands for Whirlpool.
Maynard joined Whirlpool in 1990 and moved to KitchenAid in 1995, filling the posts of manager of direct marketing and sales, marketing communications manager, director of marketing for majors and portables, and director of brand marketing until June 2007. At that time, he took the post of global director of corporate responsibility programs for Whirlpool, organizing and managing the variety of programs that promote the corporation’s community and volunteer efforts. A successor for Maynard in this position has not yet been named.
