EARLY BRANCH, S.C.–Le Creuset has introduced its first café collection, an assortment of premium products for serving and enjoying French press coffee, cappuccino and espresso. First seen at last week’s Ambiente in Frankfurt, the collection will also be at next month’s International Home + Housewares Show. In addition, it also debuted Marseille, a new bold blue that will be available in cast iron, stoneware, tools and accessories, stockpots and teakettles.
The new café series is made of colorful, even-heating stoneware, and will include a French press, espresso and cappuccino cups and saucers, a cream and sugar set, a coffee storage jar and a set of six teaspoons. It will be available next month in Cherry, Truffle — a new warm, natural hue — as well as the new Marseille.
“An extensive amount of thought goes into all of the pieces we add to our stoneware collection,” said Judy Baker, brand manager, Le Creuset. “The coffee collection was something we’d been thinking about introducing for some time. Now, with the continued popularity of in-home entertaining, we felt it was the ideal time to bring this elegant set to market.”
