SAN FRANCISCO–Lagostina, the high-end Italian cookware brand in the Groupe SEB portfolio, has made its debut in the U.S market, launching exclusively at Williams-Sonoma with its Melodia line.
Featuring an aluminum core sandwiched between 18/10 stainless steel, this collection has Italian design flare, including rounded shapes and double-loop handles, which are connected to the pots with welding rather than rivets.
The line includes fry pans (with a 12-inch fry pan retailing for $120), stockpots, saute and sauce pans, a 4-quart soup pot with ladle ($139.95), a pastaiola with wooden rake ($199.95), and seven- and nine-piece sets ($399.95 and $499.95, respectively).
Lagostina has been manufacturing in Northern Italy since 1901.
