ASPEN, Colo.-Whirlpool’s KitchenAid brand is augmenting its long-standing partnership with the Food & Wine Classic here by sharing culinary content from the event with those who can’t attend.
Both KitchenAid and Food & Wine magazine, which hosts the event, will produce 10 video segment derived from 10 of the event’s chef demonstrations. Food & Wine will post the videos on its website, foodandwine.com, and KitchenAid will share the videos through social-media channels such as Facebook and YouTube. The videos will include tips from chefs on food and wine pairings and best uses for special ingredients as well.
The videos will also air on Amex TV, American Express’ interactive television brand channel, which is available through Internet-connected TVs and through cable satellite services such as AT&T Uverse, Cablevision, DirecTV, Dish and Verizon Fios.
As at past Food & Wine Classics, attendees will be able to bid on KitchenAid Stand Mixers signed by celebrity chefs at live auctions to benefit Cook for the Cure, the partnership between KitchenAid and Susan G. Komen, the breast-cancer fund-raising organization.
