READING, Mass.-The Keurig Vue Brewing System has been designated a finalist for the Edison Awards.
The brewer, which was debuted last year, is a finalist in the consumer-packaged-goods category, one of 12 included in the awards. Candidates are judged based on concept, value, delivery and impact. The slate of nominees is judged by more than 3,000 senior business executives, including members of the Marketing Executives Networking Group, the American Association of Advertising Agencies, the Chief Marketing Officer Council, the Design Management Institute, the American Productivity & Quality Center, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Association of Technology Management & Applied Engineering.
The awards program is conducted by Edison Universe, a charitable organization dedicated to fostering innovators. This year, the awards are sponsored by Nielsen, Discovery Communications, Science Channel and USA Today. The winners will be announced at the Edison Awards Annual Gala, to be held on April 25 in the Grand Ballroom at the Navy Pier in Chicago.
