GARDEN CITY, N.Y.–Lifetime Brands has announced that Alan Kanter will leave the company as group president of the home decor, photo frame and flatware divisions as of August 15. He is leaving to become president and chief operating officer of Performance Indicators, a company specializing in photoluminescence technology sold primarily to the government. During the transition period, he will maintain an advisory position with Lifetime Brands.
