CLOSTER, N.J.-The Jura Impressa J9 One Touch TFT has won the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, the museum of design and architecture.
The coffeemaker won in “Best in Category—Countertop Cooking & Beverage Appliances.” According to a statement from Jura, the Impressa J9 received the award based on its design, concept, materials, construction, utility, energy efficiency and sensitivity to the environment.
Its display is programmed with text and images to guide the user through its menus and programming. It is also designed with a rotary dial, enabling the user to choose the desired specialty coffee.
At the touch of a button, the Impressa J9 brews crema coffee, espresso, latte cappuccino, latte macchiato and other beverages. It also has a height-adjustable cappuccino spout and a height- and width-adjustable coffee spout, giving the user the ability to brew coffee sizes ranging from single shots to tall latte macchiatos.
