CARROLLTON, Texas–Jokari will launch its new Healthy Steps line at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show. Initially containing 24 items, the line helps consumers eat better, and includes a Portion Control Dressing Lid, which dispenses one serving of salad dressing, ketchup and other condiments at a time; the Portion Control Pasta Basket, a silicone basket that makes sure the chef doesn’t cook more pasta than needed; and a Portion Control Salt Shaker, which can be set to measure and dispense a pinch, 1/8 teaspoon or 1/4 teaspoon at a time. Retailing between $2.99 and $9.99, the items target grocery, mass and specialty chains.

In addition, the line has its own Web site, jokari.com/myhealthysteps, which includes recipes and nutritional links. Later this year, consumers will be able to register to win a free gym membership.
